Built : ?
Original Name : Kelmscott
Station History : Kelmscott Station, is situated in
the commercial centre of Kelmscott, along Albany HWY, Kelmscott is a
unique station,
as it has a bus interchange in
the middle of it's platform. Before the
days of the Joondalup Line, where half the stations along that line
have
purpose
built bus interchanges,
Kelmscott, was a model design, showcasing the ease of the relationship
that Trains and Buses can experience, only if the proper
facilities are provided.
Because of Kelmscott's proximity, it is an important link in the public
transport system needed to service the population in
the hill's
districts such as Roleystone
and Karragullen.
