Located on the main south line, between Launceston and Hobart, on the outskirts of suburban Hobart. Bridgewater Station is on a triangle formation,
where the Derwent Valley Line Starts and heads west. Bridgewater was once one of the main stations on the Hobart Suburban Passenger Service,
which ceased operations in the 1970's.
