Located on the Fremantle to Forrestfield Freight Line, between Robbs Jetty and the Spearwood Triangle.

The Station was built on the former Fremantle to Armadale Line, via Bibra Lake and Forrestdale, however
when that line was closed in the 1950's it bacame part of a freight branch line from Robbs Jetty servicing
factories in the Spearwood and Bibra Lake areas.

The construction of standarad gauge line, from Forrestfield to Kwinana and Fremantle in the 1960's, severed
the line from Jandakot, just beyond Bibra Lake.

The new standard gauge line ran side by side with the old narrow gauge freight line, through Spearwood station
and up till I believe the 1990's the sidings at Spearwood and Bibra Lake were still being used by Westrail.

Today, Spearwood's station site is marked by a small section of wooden platform lining and some rail used to frame
the old platform. The platform line has long since been removed and the area is currently undergoing a revamp, so
who knows how much longer the remains will last.
