Kamballie Station

Kamballie Station, Was located on the former Kalgoorlie - Boulder Suburban Loopline Railway, East of Boulder City Station and south west of Trafalgar Station.

Up till around 2003, the Boulder Loop Line Preservation Group, were running train tours out to Kamballie Station, from Boulder City Station and part of the tour was a walk around of the old Kamballie Power Station.

Today nothing remains of Kamballie, as it's been swallowed up by the monsterous Super Pit, Open Cut Mine, this has also seen about the demise of Golden Gate and Trafalgar Stations, which were other survivors of the Boulder Loop Line Railway.

I'm not sure, but I'd assume the track and station building were removed to be used on the rebuilding of the track from Golden Gate Station to where the first stage of the Loop Line reconstruction ends, I think this will be at Williamstown Rd or
Boorara Roads, before they eventually complete the second stage which is to reach Hannan Street, just up the hill from the Goldfields Museum. Well that was the plan... but nothing seems to be happening.
