Elleker Siding, is located on the Great
Southern Railway line, between Narrikup and Cuthbert.
Up till 1957, Elleker was the junction on the GSR line for the Nornalup
line, which was originally built by the Millars Timber Co, the
line was eventually bought by the WAGR, who ran it till it closed in
1957.
These days Elleker still has it's old passing loop, however it isn't
connected to the main line, this maybe going to change in the near
future
as ARG has shown interest in reopenning the loop for use by the
Woodchipper, which runs from Redmond (north of Elleker) to Port Albany.
