Pukerangi is located inland within the southern half of the south island of New Zeland.

Pukerangi Station is located at the end of the Taeiri Gorge Tourist Railway.

Regular Passenger services to Pukerangi ceased in 1976.
The station is 58kms from Dunedin and 250m above sea level.
