3801 and DD592, at Spearwood, 30th of
August 1970
3801, the 1st train to run from Coast to Coast in Australia
The photos were take at Spearwood between Rockingham Rd and the
coast, this was set up
as a photo shoot with a narrow gauge steam train "DD592" and "3801"
along side each other.

3801 arriving at Spearwood,
actually the site of the old Spearwood station, there
was still a small goods yard in operation and Spearwood Junction
(behind the trains)
was also still operating, (the branch going to Spearwood and Bibra Lake
wool stores).
