Days Accommodation Special, in Aug 2004.
On it's return to Pinjarra, the XA had an old Westland headboard
attached to the
front, to mark the 50th anniversary of the WAGR X class locomotive.

from Dowerin, the track on the left goes to Wubin and
Mullewa.

XA1401, rolls down hill to Perth from here.

locations to get photos of the XA on it's run back to Perth
through the Valley... here's its about to enter Toodyay from the north.

On another rare working, XA1401,
again partnered with PM706 at the rear of the consist, shunt
from the Bellevue Flashbutt to Midland Terminal, to pick up passengers,
before it is hauled back
to the Flashbutt by PM706..... and then PM706 runs around the consist
in the Flashbutt before
the Wizards Express from Midland departs for Pinjarra. October 2004
