Built : ?
Original Name : South Street Station?
Station History : Success Harbour Station, is located between
South Beach and Esplanade Stations on the duel gauge single line
from Fremantle to Robb Jetty. I'm not sure when Suceess Harbour Station
was first constructed, however, I'm also not sure, but
there may have been a South Street Station, a couple hundred metres closer
towards Esplanade Station, on the line, this station
would have been demolished before the America's Cup in 1987, because Success
Harbour was being used as a stopping place by
then, by the HVTR's shuttle Train running from Fremantle Station to South
Beach while the America's Cup was on.
Today Success Harbour is deserted and abandoned, I don't believe there are
any plans by the WAGR, to resume passenger operations
to Esplanade, Success Harbour and South Beach Station, so I guess there's
no future for this station.
