Original Name : Carnamah
Station History : Midland Railways classified,
Carnamah Station as a class 3 station. The station was a weatherboard
building with
station masters quarters.
Throughout the stations life, it had a station master at 3 various
times, 1st June 1897 - 28th February
1899, 1st of October 1907 - 1st
December 1913 and finally, 1 February 1921 - 19th of October 1984.
These days nothing is left of the original Station and even the
second station, which was of the same design as Trayning and Coorow....
the only remains of the station yard are
the goods platform and goods shed.
Carnamah these days is just a siding, used by the CBH grain Storage Bin, a
little north of the former station yard.
