Station
was a class 3 station, at it’s time opening, it was constructed with
weatherboard
and had a station masters quarters.
A Station master was in attendance throughout the stations passenger
services life time,(2nd of July 1894 to 31st of August 1988). Moora
Station was a
watering stop along the Midland Railways line, water was drawn
from the towns supply and stored in two tanks at the stations yard. In
1978, A new brick
station on the right hand side of the track replaced the old weather
board Station. The brick station is still there today, but is no longer
a station building, it is
being used as a telecentre.
