Bruce
Rock
Station, 19th of December 2008
Openned : -
Original Name : Bruce Rock
Station Facts : The
current brick station building at Bruce Rock, was built in 1975. The
old Station may have only been demolished as early as a few years ago,
as when I visited the Bruce Rock Station site, the old station wasn’t
there, but there was no grass or trees in it’s position, only sand and
broken bits of bitumen.
Bruce Rock was another junction station, it had tracks leading to
Merredin,
Narrogin and York, how ever today, the line to York, between
Bruce Rock and Quairading, is closed and the tracks have been removed
at railway crossings.
