Opened
: 1934
Location
: 79 miles 75 chains (41.66kms from Pinjarra)
Chadoora Siding
is located on the disused section of the Hotham Valley (HV) Cross
Country Line, which once ran from Pinjarra to Narrogin and is situated
between the former siding sites of Amphion and Pindalup. In 1936 the
Worsley Timber Company opened a Saw Mill at the site of siding and
continued to operate there untill the 1960's, making it the last Timber
Mill to exsist along the HV Line. The siding was left intact after the
section of line from Dwellingup to Boddington closed, however in 1987,
HVTR pulled up the western end, set of points for use at Dwellingup
Station Yard. (Source: The

It's hard to

Some more
photos of the set of points at the Boddington end of Chadoora Siding,
4th of October 2009
On the left hand side of both photos, is the main line, with the siding
being on the right. Also heading off into
the extreme right hand side of the photo is a dead end siding track,
running for some 10 to 20 metres.
The track
sits suspended in mid air, over the site of a former culvert (left) and
the missing track represents,
the location of the Dwellingup end of Chadoora Siding, where the
points for that end of the yard were located,
before being removed by Hotham Valley Tourist Railway, for use in
