On the former Bowelling to Narrogin Railway, via Williams, Darkan Station
was situated between Bowelling and Williams. Darkan's Station
building is of the same design of other Station's located at Wickepin, Dumbleyung, Popannyinning, Northampton, Esperance and Boyup Brook. This style
of station being the more commonly built design on the WAGR from around 1905 till about 1925.
