The
remains of the Dwarda Goods Platform, 7th of May 2009
Located on the former section of railway
line from Boddington to Narrogin, which was part of the Hotham Valley
cross country line, running from Pinjarra via Dwellingup and connected
up to Narrogin on
the GSR line. Dwarda was situated between Crossman and Mooterdine
Sidings.
Dwarda once boasted a Railway Barracks, which was moved from Crossman
Siding to Dwarda in 1937, as well as a Coal Stage and a triangle, which
was located on the Mooterdine end of the yard.
The line through Dwarda opened in 1925 and closed in 1957.
