Located between Collie and Darkan just off the side of the Coalfields HWY
in Bowelling is the old Bowelling Station. Bowelling Station
is one of the few reminders of the once railway line from Collie to Narrogin and also to Wagin. Bowelling Station was a junction station, where lines
branched off to the Great Southern Railway line, both at Narrogin, via Williams and to Wagin, via Arthur River.
Today the old railway reserve at Bowelling, is a Horse Riding, Mountain Bike riding and Bush Walking trail to Darkan, some 20+ Kms away.
