Located in Whiteman Park, on the outskirts of the Perth Metropolitan area,Village
Junction station is the central station for the
Bennett Brook Railway, with lines departing from Village Junction to Mussel Pool Station (the old Nungarin Station) and also to Kangaroo
Flats and Maine Station, on the Bushland Loop, which runs from the north of Village Junction and arrives back to Village Junction, from the
southern end of the station, along with the Mussel Pool Branch.
Bennett Brook Railway, operates with 2 foot gauge rollingstock and has 2 of the largest 2 foot gauge steam locomotives in the world.
